Technology Park prides itself on being a sustainable office park, with environmental friendly buildings. All of our newly constructed buildings within the park are built to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certified Standards. Several of our tenants at Technology Park are like minded, and have also done their tenant fit ups to meet the same LEED standard.
One of our tenants, ReArch Company www.rearchcompany.com has spearheaded the Grounds to Grow On K-Cup Pod Recovery Program in their office space. With this recovery program, they are mailed boxes to fill up with K-Cups, which they then send back to be recycled! The plastic from the pod, and the metal from the top of the cup are recycled, and the coffee grounds inside the pods are composted.
Since ReArch Company has started this program they have diverted over 145 pounds of K-Cup Pods from our landfills. We would like to encourage other tenants at the park to participate in this great program that is really making a significant impact.
